Through the use of Match.com's Synapse algorithm, the website can recommend potential partners based on their online activities, according to the news source. For instance, someone may say that they are not looking to date anyone who is over the age of 26. However, this person's search history might reveal that he or she often clicks on the profiles of thirty-somethings, Synapse will come to the conclusion that this person is in fact open to meeting older individuals.
