Family and friends always knew 12-year-old Olivia Manning was smart, but they had no idea how intelligent she was until she took an IQ test for kids, the Daily Mail reports. With a score of 162, the British youth has proven she is more intelligent than both Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking, placing her in the top 1 percent of the smartest people on the planet.

While her teachers joke that they need to assign Olivia extra work to ensure she is being challenged, she also exercises her brain by participating in a Mensa after-school problem-solving club. This organization helps gifted children like Olivia find work that challenges them and brings out their academic strengths.

"The success of the Mensa enrichment club shows how, with the right support, students can excel and become the best in the world," school principal Kay Askew told the news source.

Mensa, a society for individuals with high IQs, states that it is important for gifted children to feel challenged with their schoolwork, or they run the risk of becoming bored in school. This, in turn, can cause students to become disruptive in class or instill a dislike of academics.
