Credit Card Security Code Most banks now require that we ask for your credit card's security code to complete online transactions. This is for your added security and helps to deter fraud with credit card transactions. You will find the 3-digit security code on the back of your VISA or MasterCard or the 4-digit code on the front of your American Express card.
