Among Mensa International’s newest members is Jatin Chunilal of the U.K., the Barnet and Whetstone Press reported. At 12 years old, he certainly is not the IQ society’s youngest member, but that does not mean his accomplishments are any less amazing. After taking an IQ test, Jatin achieved a score of 162, which is two points higher than Albert Einstein's supposed score. Even though he is only in high school, the gifted child has the honor of placing within the top 1 percent of the U.K. population in terms of intelligence.Jatin’s mother Dipti told the news source that she could always tell that her son, who learned to read when he was 4 years of age, was a high achiever."He likes to do puzzles and read and at the moment, he’s so motivated that he’s already studying on his own for the BMAT [Biomedical Admissions Test] for Oxbridge, even though it’s six years away," Dipti told the Harrow Observer. "He wants to be a cardiovascular surgeon." As soon as children show signs of gifted behavior, their parents may want to consider having them take an IQ test for kids. This will help ensure that these youths receive the type of intellectual stimulation they often crave.
