While Jeopardy is typically a platform where contestants can show off their extensive knowledge in a variety of subjects, it could also lead to more career opportunities. Particularly for those who are considered "genius" contestants, as they may often receive attention for their performance.According to the Wrap, which provides coverage of Hollywood, Thomas Horn, the 13-year-old Jeopardy winner has been cast in a movie based on Jonathan Safran Foer's novel "Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close."Not only will Horn have his big screen debut, but he will be playing the protagonist Oskar Schell, whose parents will be portrayed by Oscar winners Sandra Bullock and Tom Hanks. The story follows a 9-year-old boy who goes on an adventure around New York City after his father dies at the World Trade Center. The news provider reports that Horn won $31,800 in October on the popular game show, with a big portion of his winnings coming from the $12,000 wager he made during Final Jeopardy.According to the Film Stage, the adaptation came from Eric Roth's script, while Stephen Daldry, who directed 2008's "The Reader" is behind the project.
