Most parents know what is best for their children, especially those under the age of 5. However, when mothers and fathers are raising gifted children, they realize there is still a lot they need to learn. For instance, Vivek and Suruchi Malhotra, the parents of 3-year-old Jasmine, are constantly looking for new ways to keep up with their gifted daughter, The Times of India reported. Jasmine, or Jazz, has an IQ around 166, which is higher than that of Stephen Hawking and Bill Gates. "She is an exceptionally gifted child with creative thinking," Ajay Sharma, a clinical psychologist, told the news source. "Her IQ level will increase [until] the age of 15."
In order to keep up with their child’s intellectual appetite, Jazz’s parents have ordered numerous puzzles and scoured the internet for information on gifted youths.
Southeast of India, another talented child is proving just what young minds are capable of. In Singapore, 4-year-old Kyler Lim is already a member of the country’s Mensa chapter, RazorTV reported. When Lim was just 18 months, his parents found him reading a magazine aloud and soon discovered that he possessed an IQ of 140.
If parents are curious to see just how bright their own children are, they may want to have them sit for an IQ test for kids.
