While there may be a gender gap in the corporate world in terms of salary, researchers recently discovered that there is a difference between educational attainment levels as well.According to a report released by the Department of Labor, one in four women earn a bachelor's degree by October of the year when they're age 23, while only one in seven men have done so. The study focused on individuals between the ages of 22 and 23 because some people are choosing to put off school until they figure out the kind of career they want to enter into.One way to ensure that an individual is prepared to go to school for their future profession is to take a career aptitude test ahead of time. Taking the test before deciding on a college path may help someone narrow down their academic search to schools that specifically offer their program. Additionally, if they have a clearer picture of the kind of program they wish to enroll in, they may graduate at an earlier rate.
